TAHA President Reggie Hall steps forward to help friend & Brahmas
Former Jr Brahmas coach, and current President of TAHA, Reggie Hall was asked and accepted the interim Head Coaching position for the Jr Brahmas 14U A. “His self-less leadership in coming to the aid of his friend Casey Smith, and his former association is exactly why Reggie is an outstanding leader to our hockey community” stated Knute Anderson.
Head Coach Casey Smith, and his wife Chelsea were involved in a serious car accident in route to his Jr Brahma’s games in Houston. Both have been moved to the Dallas area for further medical care. Casey’s comments say it all regarding coach Hall, “I must take a moment to thank a great friend of mine Reggie Hall. Reggie has agreed to help me run the team until I can return. We have a great working history on and off the ice. I cannot think of anyone better to help out our team.” Casey and his family have been overwhelmed by the support of the hockey community. There is no question that Texas Hockey is not as much a sport as it is a family!
On behalf of all players and families, we welcome Reggie back to Brahma-land. “His leadership, support, and friendship are greatly appreciated,” said NYTEX Sports President Frank Trazzera. “He is simply the perfect person and coach to lead this squad, until Casey returns”
